Applying Political Intelligence
Applying Political Intelligence
The word politics in an organisational sense does not have positive connotations for many of us but we perceive that some situations seem to be resolved using political maneuvers. Applying Political Intelligence is a profoundly interesting course designed to provide clarity on this complex subject and help you to recognise, analyse and improve your contribution to a positive political climate in your organisation. Most importantly the course helps people to use techniques such as influencing, networking and communication to create a positive environment that encourages an open forum where a shared agenda is understood and pursued. The process uses a diagnostic tool for delegates to identify their own political profile and the personal agenda that motivates them.
Who should attend?
Designed for Boards and Senior Management who need to apply political intelligence and have an impact on the political behaviour in the business as a whole.
How delegates will benefit
- For the first time delegates will understand their own Political Intelligence using the unique diagnostic tool
- A shared understanding and recognition of negative and positive behaviours can change the culture of a company
- The full potential of the company can be released by removing the blocks that negative political cultures can create
Training Approach
This workshop is uses a combination of trainer input, knowledge sharing with interactive syndicate work and case studies
Group size is kept to a maximum of 12 to facilitate sharing of experience amongst the delegates. Available as an open course or in-house for Boards and Senior Management Teams. It can also be run as a higher level seminar for larger audiences.
Workshop leader: Jayne Owen
